Job Description and Position Requirements

The Stuckeman School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture shop seeks to hire numerous students throughout the academic year for part‑time positions. These positions will assist the general shop full‑time staff.

Required Experience

• Operating shop machinery such as:
  • Table Saws
  • Band Saws
  • Miter Saws
  • Drill Presses
  • Sanders
• Thorough knowledge of shop safety practices and ability to communicate with others.

Primary Duties Include

• Cleanup and emptying of dust collection bins
• Light machine maintenance with cleaning and waxing machine tables
• Assisting others with machine usage
• Designing and/or building small projects in the Stuckeman Building
