Job summary

ASR International Corporation seeks a qualified Structures Technician to support DoD facilities at Hurlburt Field, Florida. Structures Technician – Hurlburt Field, Florida

ASR International Corporation, with over 40 years of experience providing engineering, construction management, and technical services to the U.S. Department of Defense, is seeking a qualified Structures Technician to support the USAF at Hurlburt Field, Florida.

Position Summary

The CEO Structures Technician will deliver high‑quality, timely technical support services and deliverables. Work includes hands‑on structures support for renovation, envelope, and roof systems, technical assessments, safety coordination, and documentation while meeting strict performance thresholds for quality and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hands‑on technical support for DoD or commercial structures as a technician responsible for repairs or construction. Structural experience includes general building renovation, building envelope, and roof.
  • Support deliverable reviews, technical assessments, and documentation for operations and maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate with facility managers and receive safety briefs on work‑area hazards.
Technical and Administrative Support
  • Maintain files, organize documentation, and provide administrative support.
  • Deliver monthly status reports and support Quality Control Plan requirements.
  • Use government ADP systems and maintain data repositories while handling only CUI‑level information.
Compliance and Professional Standards
  • Ensure all work avoids inherently governmental functions; do not make binding decisions, obligate funds, or sign contracts on behalf of the Government.
  • Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and professional appearance while on duty.
  • Complete required training (Level 1 Anti‑Terrorism, Information Assurance certification per DoDM 8140.03) and maintain current CAC and base access.
  • Comply with environmental, health, and safety requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
  • At least ten (10) years as a DoD or commercial structures technician responsible for repairs or construction, with experience in building renovation, envelope, and roof.
  • U.S. Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC), successfully complete a NACI/SF85 background investigation, and maintain required Information Assurance certification. No access to classified information; CUI handling only. No foreign nationals permitted.
  • Strong troubleshooting, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license (for on‑base operations).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior federal or Air Force facility structures, renovation, or building envelope experience.
  • Knowledge of roofing systems and safety protocols.
Work Environment, Schedule & Location

On‑site at Hurlburt Field, Florida. Desk space and government‑furnished computer with unclassified network access in Building 90053. Field work on building renovation, envelope, and roof projects is required. No routine travel outside the Hurlburt Field perimeter is expected.

Hours

Core base hours 0730–1630, Monday–Friday. Contractor may adjust hours as needed for timely completion at no additional cost to the Government. No work required on 11 federal holidays. Performance is not mission‑essential during crises unless directed in writing.
