Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher(s) in preparation of student work, workstations, and classroom displays.
• Assist with instructional activities under the direction of the special education team leader.
• Liaison between regular education and special education teachers on IEP modifications.
• Adjust on-the-spot instruction and provide daily feedback to teachers.
• Support students' medical, physical, communicative and emotional needs.
• Assist students with physical disabilities and personal care as needed.
• Supervise students inside and outside the classroom and during meals and transitions.
