Job summary

Soros Fund Management LLC (SFM) is seeking a sharp, curious analyst to work directly with portfolio managers on the investment process related to securitized products. The role offers hands-on, high-visibility responsibilities and growth across multiple securitized sectors, including Agency and Non-Agency MBS, CLOs, and CMBS.

You will run daily analytics, monitor risk and spreads, track new-issue activity, and contribute to ad hoc research while developing sector views and automation strategies

Qualifications

• 2–4 years direct experience in Agency or Non-Agency MBS.
• Strong grasp of fixed income risk concepts — including DV01, convexity, volatility, and spread risk.
• Working knowledge of core industry tools: Intex, Yield Book, and Bloomberg.
• Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve efficiency and automate parts of the workflow.
• Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to managing multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Daily Portfolio & Risk: Run daily analytics and stress scenarios, flag PM attention.
• New Issue & Market Coverage: Track calendar, maintain trackers, coordinate with legal on NDAs and conflicts.
• Research & Surveillance: Monitor holdings for defaults, prepayment, collateral performance.
• Automation & Process: Identify manual workflows and build automated solutions, inclu. AI tools.
