Job summary

Software Placement Group in New York is seeking a Mid-Level Finance Associate Attorney to join its expanding structured finance practice. The role focuses on sophisticated lending transactions, including CLOs, and offers a strong platform for growth within a premier law firm environment.

You will represent lenders, draft and negotiate loan documents, and coordinate due diligence with cross-office teams. A NY bar is required, with 3–5 years of relevant experience in structured finance

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school.
• Active Bar Admission in New York.
• 3–5 years of substantive experience representing investment banks and/or asset managers in structuring and documenting CLO transactions.
• Experience with acquisition financings, cross-border financings, and syndicated credit facilities.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent lenders in a broad range of financing transactions, including acquisition financings and syndicated credit facilities.
• Draft and negotiate loan documents and related transactional materials.
• Coordinate and conduct due diligence, and oversee all aspects of deal execution.
• Collaborate with partners and clients to develop and implement deal strategies.
• Work closely with cross-office teams on multi-jurisdictional matters.
