Job summary

Bristol Alliance of Companies seeks a Telecommunications Technician 1 & 2 to install and maintain structured cabling systems, including fiber and copper, across various sites. You will run cables, install telecom equipment, and assist on network projects while ensuring quality and safety standards.

The role requires practical experience, ability to read technical drawings, and teamwork, with potential for leadership on projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three to five years of experience in the field or related area.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install structured cabling systems (fiber and copper) and network equipment.
• Build telecommunication closets and ensure grounding/bonding to codes.
• Test and troubleshoot telecommunications systems.
• Read and interpret work orders, specs, and drawings.
• Collaborate with team or foreman as needed.
• Follow safety and industry best practices.
