Overview

Sign-On and Relocation Bonus Available

This position is eligible for a$5,000 sign-on bonus; 50% paid after 30 days and 50% paid after 6 months of employment.

In addition, candidates relocating from more than 50 miles from Red Bud, IL facility are eligible for a $5,000 relocation bonus to help cover moving expenses. Employees must remain employed for 12 months to retain the relocation bonus.

Starting pay is $24.50 - $30.00based on applicant skill and experience level.

Annual review with opportunity for pay increase based on performance. Annual Bonus based on performance. Interview includes hands‑on welding test.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Consistently weld structuraland carbonsteel in3G, 4G, and 2F fillet weld using FCAW, GMAW, and GMAW-spray.
• Operate safety equipment and use safe work habitsincluding, but not limitedto:forklifts, overhead cranes, etc.
• Advancedknowledge of lay out, positioning, aligning, and securingparts and assemblies prior to assembly.
• Examinework piecesfor defects and measurework pieceswith straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications.
• Recognize, set up, andoperatehand and power tools common to the welding trade.
• Clamp, hold, tack‑weld, heat‑bend,grindor boltcomponentparts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding.
• Consistently pass non‑destructive (x‑ray, etc.) examinations of FCAW welds on required products.
• Regular attendancein accordance withthe attendance policy.
• Conduct activities in a safe and healthy manner and workin accordance withestablishedsafetyand companyrequirements.

Qualifications

NOWLEDGE/SKILL /ABILITY/ EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. ispreferred.
• Certification or degree in welding from a technical school program strongly preferred.
• Two(2) toFive(5)years of welding experience is strongly preferred.
• Meets all Structural Welder I requirements on a consistent basis.
• Ability to passRoeslein’swelding certifications for structural isrequired; includes ability to FCAW weld in 3G(vertical) & 4G(overhead)positionand topass avisual andbend test.
• Must be able to consistently execute high quality FCAW, GMAW, GMAW-spray welds.
• Abilityto readblue printdrawingsat an intermediate levelisrequired.
• Strong math skills arerequired.
• Strong analytical andproblem solvingskills arerequired.
• High levelof energy and motivation.
• Ability to work flexible hours including, but not limited to, frequent and mandatory overtime, and some voluntary Saturdays,as included in our schedule.
• Mustpossessthe ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, both hourly and management, in a team environment.
• Mustcomply withRoeslein’score values for the safe and efficient operation of the business andmaintainsound relationships among and with employees.

Pay Range

Salary Range: USD $24.50/Hr. - USD $30.00/Hr.
