Job summary

Hutco, Inc. is seeking Welders and Fitters with at least 2 years of hands-on welding experience. The role requires passing certification tests, drug screen, and E-Verify. PPE is mandatory, and all personnel must follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities include welding and fitting duties, operating relevant equipment, and working in confined spaces, with shifts that may involve lifting and climbing as needed. This is an on-site position in Freeport, TX.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of welding/fitters experience.
• Must pass hands-on certification tests.
• Must pass drug test and E-Verify.
• Personal Protective Equipment required and provided guidelines followed.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fitting tasks per procedures and safety rules.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools as required.
• Enter and maneuver in confined spaces and on vessels as needed.
• Move loads up to 50 pounds and occasionally 75 pounds over short distances.
• Navigate gangways, scaffolds, and variable work heights safely.
• Comply with regulations and safe work practices during shifts.
