Job summary

Rwdy-Inc in Notrees, TX is seeking an experienced Structural Welder to support construction of a direct carbon capture plant. You will weld, fit, and install steel components, read blueprints, and operate welding equipment.

Candidates must have at least 4 years in industrial construction, be able to pass welding tests, drug tests, and audiograms, and be prepared for overtime, nights, and weekends. Outdoor work in all weather is required, with exposure to heights and confined spaces.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of industrial construction or maintenance experience.
• Structural welding experience required.
• Must pass a welding test at Dynamic Labs or Acuren.
• Must pass a drug test and complete an audiogram.
• Must have required welding tools.
• Must be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces, potentially over 300 ft.
• Must have available for overtime, nights, and weekends.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Weld structural steel, including beams, columns, plates, and frames.
• Fit, align, bolt, and weld steel components.
• Read blueprints and welding instructions.
• Use welding machines, grinders, torches, and other tools.
• Grind, clean, and inspect completed welds.
• Cut and prepare steel as needed.
• Use rigging and cranes to position materials.
• Follow all project safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
