A leading construction staffing company is urgently seeking experienced Structural Welders for projects in Norfolk, VA. This role offers a first shift opportunity with a competitive pay rate of up to $45 per hour based on experience. Candidates must have over 4 years of experience, pass welding tests, and be capable of working in a physically demanding shipboard environment. Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a Naval shipyard or NNS.
• Must pass various weld tests.
• Experience in physical demanding shipboard environments.

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Structural Welders for projects located in or around Norfolk, VA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $45/hour ''' based on experience and skill level. Job Scope

• Multipass. All position fillet and butt welds using the following processes: SMAW Shielded Metal Arc Welding, GMAW Gas Metal Arc Welding, FCAW Flux Cored Arc Welding and GMAWP Pulse Arc Welding
• Using Oxygen/Propane heating torch
• Air Carbon Arc Gouging
• Use fillet and butt weld gauges

Requirements

• OSHA 10; may be provided to qualified candidates
• 4+ year NNS or Naval shipyard experience
• Must pass various weld test
• Experience working in a physically demanding environment shipboard sub-assemblies ladders staging etc
