Scope of work: repair and maintenance. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, planning layouts, setting up equipment, and coordinating with field crews. Must have PPE, reliable transportation, and be able to pass a drug screen.

Qualifications

• Must be able to weld 3G/4G and Fluxcore welding.
• Reading blueprints and drawings and taking measurements to plan layouts.
• Knowledge of metallurgy and geometry to provide welding solutions.
• Set up, evaluate, and operate welding equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance as per scope of work.
• Coordinate with field labor crew for installations.
• Conserve resources to meet budget and client satisfaction.
• Pass drug screen and have own PPE and reliable transport.

Job description

We are now accepting applications/resumes forEXPERIENCED Structural Welders for the Jeanerette, LAand surroundingarea. This is not an entry-level position, and candidate should have a solid understanding of some of the following:

• Must be able weld 3G/4G
• Experience withFLUXCOREwelding
• Scope of Work: Repair and Maintenance
• Required Skills:
  • Reading blueprints and drawings and taking measurements to plan layout and procedures
  • Ability employ their knowledge of metallurgy and geometry to provide welding solutions and recommendations
  • Ability to set up, evaluate, and operate various welding equipment and tools
  • Determining the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
  • Setting up components for welding according to specifications
• Physical Requirements:
  • Must be comfortable working at differentheights
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 LBS
  • Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, squat, or kneel regularly, as well as climb stairs and ladders to complete tasks.
• Ability to use hand tools to achieve proper surface texture
• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints and other written instructions and diagrams to perform task at hand
• Select proper fillers for jobs based on previous experience or project instructions
• Coordinate with field labor crew for efficient installations
• Conserve resources whenever possible to ensure budgetary integrity and client satisfaction
• Must have own PPE (Hard hat, steel toes, safety glasses, gloves), welding hood, welding shirts, and welding gloves
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass drug screen
