Job Location: US‑TX‑Dallas
The Structural Technical Modeler is a top‑level drafter/technician (non‑supervisory level), and is responsible for preparation of construction documents for BIM drawings and details on a variety of projects that range vastly in scale, detail, and complexity. A Structural Technical Modeler should be able to rapidly develop structural building information models (BIMs), annotate plans and details, create three‑dimensional renderings, rationalize geometry for appropriate structural schemes, and assist with creating structural narratives. Works closely with design originator, project managers and team of engineers and modelers; may recommend minor design changes requiring sound judgment and discretion. May guide or be assisted by lower‑level technicians. Performs non‑routine and complex assignments from verbal instructions and under minimal supervision.
