Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking experienced structural steel fabrication professionals for Fitter and Welder/Fitter assignments in York, PA. Positions may focus on layout and fit-up or Flux Core welding, with shifts on 1st and 2nd.

Responsibilities include reading drawings, laying out components, assembling for welding, and safely operating welding equipment. Flux Core welding and track torch use are required in some roles.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of structural steel fabrication experience.
• Experience as a Structural Steel Fitter, Welder/Fitter, or similar role.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical drawings.
• Hands-on experience with structural steel layout, fitting, positioning, and assembly.
• Knowledge of welding processes, equipment, and materials.
• Ability to set up and operate a track torch.
• Ability to perform Flux Core welding and successfully complete a pre-employment welding test.

Job Type: Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire
Shifts: 1st & 2nd Shift
Pay: Up to $25/hour, depending on experience
2nd Shift Differential: +$3/hour
