Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Safety training completed.
• Observe SIC safety and quality processes at all times.

Responsibilities

• Sets up hoisting equipment for raising and placing structural steel members.
• Fastens steel members to cable of hoist using chain, cable or rope.
• Signals hoisting operator to lift and place steel member.
• Guides member using tag line.
• Manipulates steel members into position with hand tools and equipment.
• Aligns holes and verifies alignment with plumb and level.
• Bolts and secures members for temporary or final placement.
