Job summary

M&J Engineering P.C. seeks a Junior/Mid-Level Structural Inspection Quality Control engineer to support WMATA’s inspection and maintenance programs. This role focuses on applying WMATA procedures, conducting QC reviews, and guiding inspectors in best practices.

Responsibilities include generating reports from inspections, aiding program directors and engineering teams, and improving QC processes to ensure accurate, reliable documentation for transit structures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with an emphasis on Structures.
• Experience with QC of structural inspections for bridges, tunnels, culverts, stations, fences, retaining walls and shafts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply knowledge of WMATA Structures Inspection Manual and procedures.
• Perform QC reviews of inspection reports and post-inspection quality control.
• Provide guidance on inspection best practices to WMATA inspectors.
• Develop QC inspection process improvements and support maintenance engineering teams.
