Job summary

Holmes US is seeking a Structural Engineer to own projects, lead the team, and build client relationships within our Structures Practice. You will guide work across commercial, multi-family, education, civic, or mixed-use buildings from concept through construction administration.

Ideal candidates have a PE, 4–8+ years of experience, a Civil/Structural degree, seismic design experience, and a proven ability to mentor staff. The role offers a hybrid work model and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 4–8+ years of structural engineering experience in a consultancy setting.
• PE license required; SE license preferred or in active pursuit.
• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (B.S. or M.S.).
• Seismic design experience is core to our practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering projects from concept through construction administration across building types.
• Own client relationships—managing scope, schedule, budget, and expectations.
• Develop rigorous structural solutions across concrete, steel, wood, and masonry.
• Direct, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and designers.
• Drive quality control and technical reviews on projects.
• Contribute to business development through client relationships and repeat work.
