Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Structural Project Engineer to join our Renewables team in Wisconsin. You will lead structural design of foundations and retaining walls for utility-scale wind, battery storage, and solar facilities, and prepare design reports, specs, and plans.

In this role you will support project managers, deliver technical writing, and apply ASCE load calculations. A PE license is required, SE a plus, with minimal travel and the ability to work

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering.
  • Registered Professional Engineer required; SE registration a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of related work experience.
  • Familiar with ASCE loading calculations.
  • Background in foundation design, including shallow spread footings, slab-on-grade, and deep foundations.
  • Sound verbal communication and technical writing skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Proficient with structural engineering software, such as RISA, a plus.
  • AutoCAD drafting experience is a plus.
  • Geotechnical background is a plus.
  • Solar or wind energy background is a plus.
  • Minimal travel possible.

Requirements
Job Duties:
