Ideal candidates have 10+ years in dam engineering, PE/SE licensure, and a proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams on demanding projects, including embankment and concrete dams, spillways, and related structures.

Geosyntec has an exciting opportunity for a Structural Practice Lead - Hydraulic Structures to assist in growing our practice, to be based in one of our offices in Pittsburgh, PA; Johnson City, TN; Nashville, TN; Chattanooga, TN; Louisville, KY; Indianapolis, IN; Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Houston, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Portland, OR or any of our other Geosyntec offices throughout the United States. This position may offer the flexibility to work a hybrid or fully remote schedule at the discretion of the company. This individual shall have a degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in structural engineering, and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. This position will provide technical expertise and collaborate with our existing network of dam engineering professionals to help grow our national Dams and Hydraulic Structures Engineering practice and contribute to innovative and challenging projects involving heavy‑civil works and hydraulic structures such as embankment and concrete dams, retaining structures, spillways, outlet works, conveyance systems, appurtenant structures, shoring systems, river navigation locks, flood walls, pump houses, and powerhouses.
