Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Structural Analyst for the Thunder team to own structural analysis, load path validation, and envelope integrity for mission systems and payloads. You will bridge our mission systems and partner airframe engineering, ensuring integration and airworthiness compliance.

Your work includes FEM, static/dynamic loads, and vibration analysis to meet safety standards, with opportunities to influence autonomy and payload capabilities on a clean-sheet aircraft platform.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in engineering or applied physics focusing on structures.
• Strong background in statics, dynamics, mechanics of materials and materials properties.
• Experience with structural testing (static, buckling, cyclic) and data acquisition.
• Proficiency with FEM software for linear and non-linear analyses.
• CAD proficiency and ability to create analytical models.

Responsibilities

• Perform static and dynamic structural analyses on composites and metals.
• Develop and manage FEM data across global and subsystem levels.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to validate designs against requirements.
• Document methodologies and results in technical reports for stakeholders.
• Support validation testing, instrumentation, and data correlation.
