Ropac in Troy, AL is seeking experienced ironworkers for structural and miscellaneous steel erection projects. The team will perform layout, rigging, connecting, bolting and welding tasks according to prints while upholding safety and quality standards.

Candidates must be able to obtain star ID and present a certified birth certificate or passport to access the jobsite. Pay is based on experience and includes benefits such as health insurance, dental insurance and paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Layout, rigging, connecting, bolting and welding steel per prints while meeting safety and quality standards.
• Erect steel frames on job sites.
• Drill holes for bolts in steel components.
• Bolt or weld pieces in place.
• Tighten cables and secure assemblies.
