Job summary

TLC Engineering Solutions Inc. in Bethesda, MD is offering an entry-level summer internship.

Interns work 40 hours per week from mid-May to early August 2026, with flexible start times and a hybrid schedule that allows up to three days from home. The program provides on-the-job training and mentorship in Revit drafting and structural design using steel and concrete, with potential for part-time work after the summer depending on performance and school schedule.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing an ABET accredited bachelor's degree in civil engineering or architectural engineering.
• Desire to pursue a career in engineering consulting.
• Ability to work full time (40 hours per week) from May through August 2026.
• Computer software knowledge or ability to learn (Revit, STAAD, RISA, etc.)

Responsibilities

• The Intern will work at applying academic education to assigned tasks on real projects of all sizes and types from concept to completion of construction.
• They are provided on-the-job training and mentorship from experienced engineers to learn the basics of Revit drafting / modeling and structural design using various materials (steel, concrete, etc.).
