Coffman Engineers is seeking a dynamic, innovative intern for the Structural Fire Protection Engineering team in our San Diego office for the summer of 2027. Join a team of engineers dedicated to excellence and learn how we integrate multi-disciplinary services in the AEC industry.

You will work under experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and related fire protection design tools, while developing strong analytical and communication skills in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a full-time student in a Structural and/or Civil Engineering program at a nationally recognized, accredited college, with fire protection engineering preferred, but not required.
• Minimum of three years of required courses completed towards an undergraduate Engineering degree.
• Coursework and working knowledge of Fire Protection Engineering preferred.
