Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking Structural Engineers Level 3/4 in Ocean Springs, MS to build FE models and perform comprehensive static, dynamic and vibration analyses. You’ll use Hypermesh, Nastran and Abaqus, with post-processing in Matlab/Excel, collaborating with engineering teams and customers.

US citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance are required; relocation assistance may be available, and the role involves 4 days on-site per week at the selected site.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

LS-DYNA.Experience supporting a US government customer.Engineering experience with complex systems, vehicles, or machinery.Demonstrated skills/experience in the one or more of the following analysis areas: non-linear materials, thermal, fatigue, shock, and vibration.Primary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $122,800.00 - $184,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
