Walter P Moore invites a motivated Structural Intern to join our Orlando team. You will work with project teams on a variety of architectural projects, assisting engineers and junior staff while developing essential structural design skills.

The internship emphasizes hands-on learning, exposure to real projects, and participation in our staff development program. Applicants should be pursuing civil/structural engineering and have availability for at least 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• BS - Civil Engineering or completion of a minimum of 24 hours of engineering coursework towards BS in Civil Engineering
• Accepted in or plans to apply for graduate program in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis
• EIT preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill required
• Flexible scheduling but should be consistently available a minimum of 20 hours per week

Responsibilities

• As an engineering intern in our structural engineering group, you will participate on project teams for architectural projects of all types, including commercial, sports, healthcare, and public assembly buildings.
• You will also be eligible to participate in our in-house staff development program.
