AECOM is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern for the Columbus or Cleveland, Ohio, or Raleigh, North Carolina offices. This internship starts in May 2027 and provides hands‑on experience in engineering, design, and infrastructure projects with cutting‑edge technology and mentorship from professionals.

Interns gain exposure to multiple project phases, develop technical and professional skills, and participate in a globally recognized program that supports growth within a leading infrastructure

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with at least three years of study.
• Graduates planning to pursue a Master’s degree are eligible to apply.
• Must have been enrolled in the Bachelor's program in the most recent term.

Responsabilités

• Build analytic and design skills.
• Conduct engineering design under supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Create designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under supervision.
• Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Using computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
• Performs work per agreed budget and schedule under supervision.
