Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Omaha, NE is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern focused on structural building design projects. The right candidate will have completed at least their second year in a Civil Engineering program and be interested in supporting design teams on commercial, institutional, industrial, and other building projects involving steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structural systems.

Qualifications

2+ years progress toward a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; completion of 3 years toward degree preferred.
Minimum GPA: 3.0 preferred.
Interest in structural engineering and building design, including structural analysis, gravity and lateral systems, foundations, framing layouts, connection concepts, and construction document preparation.
Coursework or project experience in structural analysis, steel design, reinforced concrete design, wood or masonry design, foundation engineering, engineering mechanics, or construction materials preferred.
