Coffman Engineers Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern for our Raleigh, NC office.

This role offers a hands-on learning environment to explore commercial, institutional, and industrial structures and to work with computer analysis software in a fast-paced professional setting. The ideal candidate is a full-time engineering student who wants to expand knowledge in structural design, AutoCAD, and client-facing communication while contributing to real projects.

  • Two years of required courses completed towards an undergraduate engineering degree.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of AutoCAD.
  • Ability to work up to 40 hours during school breaks; in-person Raleigh attendance.

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Structural Engineering Intern for our Raleigh office. This is a great opportunity to learn more about your chosen field!The ideal candidate will be a student who wishes to increase their knowledge of commercial, institutional, and industrial structures, learn about computer analysis software systems, and work in a professional fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
Requirements Include
  • Enrolled as a full-time student in an engineering program at a nationally recognized, accredited college.
  • Two years of required courses completed towards an undergraduate engineering degree.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of AutoCAD
  • Ability to work up to 40 hours during the school break. Flexibility for school schedule/demands will be provided
  • This role is based in Raleigh, NC and requires in-person attendance. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the office
