Arcadis is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Water Management/Hydraulic Structural Team in Little Rock, AR, Baton Rouge, LA, or Metairie, LA. You will deliver engineering and consulting services for flood risk reduction and waterfront resilience.
Responsibilities include structural analysis, design during construction, and collaboration with clients and contractors. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of experience, a PE, and a BS in a related field; experience with USACE is a plus.
Arcadis is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Water Management/Hydraulic Structural Team in Little Rock, AR, Baton Rouge, LA, or Metairie, LA.
As a Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering engineering and consulting services for projects focused on flood risk reduction, waterfront infrastructure resilience, dam safety, lock and navigation structure design, and more.
Conduct structural analysis, design, and engineering during construction services for climate adaptation projects, including seismic risk reduction, flood mitigation, and infrastructure resilience initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have experience designing flood walls, flood gates, retaining wall structures, and deep foundations, and will have delivered resiliency projects. Previous experience working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is highly preferred. A master’s degree in Structural Engineering is a plus, as is progressive experience in structural engineering projects related to water management, flood control, and seismic resilience. Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as STAAD, MathCAD, AutoCAD, and Revit is also beneficial. Candidates should be able to write project specifications and provide engineering support during construction.

The salary range for this position is $88,000 – $125,000 per year. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project, and location.
