Job summary

Confidential Employer in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a Structural Engineer with 2+ years of experience to design and review steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures. You will collaborate with project managers and disciplines to deliver code‑compliant solutions and participate in site visits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
  • 2+ years of structural design experience.
  • PE or E.I. certification preferred/required as applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project plans, specifications, calculations, and contract documents.
  • Perform structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and cold-formed metal.
  • Assist with building design, renovations, and inspections.
  • Prepare and review design-related reports and documentation.
  • Conduct site visits and structural inspections.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and other disciplines.
  • Apply engineering judgment to develop practical, code-compliant solutions.
  • Coordinate project details with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Support project delivery from design through completion.

Job Description

  • Perform structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and cold-formed metal structures.
  • Contribute to building design, renovations, structural analysis, and inspection projects.
  • Prepare and review design-related forms, reports, and technical documentation.
  • Conduct project site visits and structural inspections.
  • Work closely with Project Managers and other disciplines to address client needs.
  • Apply engineering judgment to develop practical, code-compliant structural solutions.
  • Coordinate project details with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Support successful project delivery from initial design through completion.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of structural design experience.
  • E.I. or P.E. certification preferred/required as applicable.
  • Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Experience with steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and/or cold-formed metal design.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
