Overview

Structural Engineer – Luxury Home Specialist. In-person, based in Golden or Boulder, Colorado. Employment Type: Full-time. The role focuses on high-end residential design, collaborating with top architects and builders across Colorado and beyond. The team emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and delivering design-forward, constructible engineering solutions.

What You’ll Do
  • Design and detail structural systems for high-end custom homes—wood, steel, concrete, and specialty framing systems
  • Collaborate directly with architects, contractors, and owners to bring creative architectural visions to life
  • Prepare structural drawings, specifications, and calculations to a high standard of accuracy and clarity
  • Perform construction observations, field coordination, and on-site evaluations
  • Contribute to concept design sessions and guide projects from schematic design through construction
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to leadership within Anthem’s high-end residential practice
What We’re Looking For
  • 5–8 years of experience in structural design (custom residential experience preferred)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Colorado Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (RISA, RAM, Revit Structure, Bluebeam)
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with architects, contractors, and clients
  • Strong sense of design and attention to architectural detail
  • Experience with hillside sites, complex framing, or mountain environments a plus

Compensation & Benefits
