We are always seeking skilled and adaptive people to become a part of KOA as we continue to grow and expand.About the RoleOur Eau Claire Team is currently looking for an experienced Structural Engineer-in-Training that will develop a diverse portfolio of engineering projects with a focus on the design, construction, and maintenance of complex structural systems. The successful candidate will utilize their experience and expertise to provide solutions to a diverse clientele that includes multinational industry leaders. Your day to day will include:Analysis and design of structural systems and componentsRead and interpret plans and specificationsDevelop and review plans, details, calculations, and specifications of structural systemsDirect technicians in the preparations of drawings, plans and construction documentationSite observations and inspection of construction projectsPrepare reports and oral presentations for both internal and client useWork within multi-disciplinary terms in varying rolesAbout YouBachelors or Master’s in Civil or Structural EngineeringFE certification required (or actively pursuing PE licensure)2+ years of experience in Structural engineering and designProficiency in relevant structural engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Robot Structural Analysis, RISA, Bluebeam, Navisworks or Similar)Ability to effectively and respectfully communicate and interact with other employees, supervisors, individuals from other organizations, and clientsProficiency with discipline-specific design tools, codes, and standardsAbility to travel (Anticipated travel not to exceed 25%)Valid driver’s license and clean driving recordWhat We OfferAnnual base salary in the range of $65,000-$90,000 per year depending on experience and qualificationsComprehensive benefits package including Health, Dental, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, 401(k) with a company matchAdditional benefits include Paid Time Off and HolidaysProfessional Development and Growth OpportunitiesCollaborative Work EnvironmentJoin our team and embark on a rewarding journey of professional growth and fulfillment within a dynamic growing company.
