Job summary

Varstaff Staffing is seeking a Structural Engineer II to support rapid design and fielding of temporary structures. You will engage with stakeholders to define structural requirements and translate concepts into vendor-ready design packages.

In this role, you will coordinate with fabrication partners, manage revision-controlled drawings, and resolve RFIs while ensuring compliance with codes, safety standards, and site conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program.
• 3+ years of structural, civil, or mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience producing fabrication-ready design packages for external vendors.
• Ability to work in dynamic environments with evolving requirements and iterative design changes.

Responsibilities

• Design and field temporary structures, translating concepts into vendor-ready packages.
• Engage with stakeholders to define structural and functional requirements, iterating quickly.
• Coordinate with fabrication partners and manage revision-controlled drawing sets.
• Resolve RFIs and technical field inquiries while ensuring code, safety, and site compliance.
