A structural engineering firm is seeking a highly talented Structural Engineer I to join their Atlanta team. The role involves leading design solutions for projects, preparing structural analyses, and supporting sophisticated projects. Candidates should have a BSCE in Structural Engineering, a PE license, and a minimum of 5 years of experience. Proficiency in structural analysis software, AutoCAD, and Revit is essential, along with strong communication and collaboration skills. Some travel is expected for this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• Understanding of model codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of design solutions on projects of limited complexity.
• Prepare structural analyses and perform engineering calculations.
• Support the Structural Team Lead on sophisticated projects.
• Prepare schematic designs, Construction Documents, and specifications.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of Construction Documents.
• Coordinate with other disciplines.
• Review shop drawings and submittals.
• Conduct field inspections and condition assessments.
• Prepare technical reports.
