Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants is looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to support the design of hydraulic and marine structures. The role involves analyzing and designing various types of structures while collaborating with industry leaders. The position offers the opportunity for hybrid and remote work schedules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in a design environment.
• Experience with steel connections and reinforced concrete is required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and detail structural steel and reinforced structures.
• Prepare technical documents including engineering reports and specifications.
• Conduct condition assessments and field investigations.

Skills

Design and detailing of structural steel and reinforced structures

Experience in the design and detailing of steel connections

Knowledge of structural engineering design and detailing software

Ability to manage multiple project assignments

Education

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a structural engineering focus

Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (Structural)

Professional registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.)
