Job summary

Optimized Process Designs, LLC (OPD), a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our growing team in Katy, TX. You will support civil and structural design for EPC projects from development through turnover, collaborating with experienced engineers to deliver practical, buildable solutions in a fast-paced environment.

This role offers hybrid work (≈3 days on-site per week) and relocation consideration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Experience designing structural steel and/or foundations for industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and develop engineering drawings and calculations.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Execute all aspects of structural design for EPC projects and support construction.
• Interact with suppliers and contractors to resolve design issues.
• Review RFIs/Submittals and expedite responses.
• Participate in design coordination meetings and approve modifications.
• Engineer foundations for racks, vessels, pumps, and balance of plant.
• Promote EH&S and adhere to current codes and standards.
