Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• 0–2 years of civil/structural engineering experience.
• Understanding of steel design per AISC and structural design principles.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with Bluebeam and Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to learn PV pile design tools and solar‑specific design methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication; good time management and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural calculations with guidance, ensuring codes and project requirements are met.
• Assist in pile plan production; analyze foundation loads and soil interactions.
• Support development of structural drawings and reports using AutoCAD and standard tools.
• Implement redline markups accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure consistency between calculation reports and drawing sets.
• Participate in QA/QC, review work before submission, update documents per feedback.
• Collaborate across civil, electrical, and project management teams.

STRUCTURAL ENGINEER – ENTRY LEVEL

Location: Minnetonka, MN | Hybrid

Schedule: Full-Time

Salary Range: $72,000 – $75,000

What You’ll Do

• Perform structural calculations with guidance to ensure compliance with applicable codes and project requirements.

• Pick up and implement redline markups accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure consistency between calculation reports and drawing sets.
• Participate in QA/QC processes, reviewing work prior to submission and updating documents per reviewer feedback.
• Collaborate across civil, electrical, and project management teams to ensure cohesive project execution.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
