Job summary

ZFA Structural Engineers, a mid-sized firm with Northern California offices, seeks an engineer to lead multiple structural projects and deliver high-quality designs. The role requires a degree in civil/architectural/structural engineering, a PE license, and California driving eligibility, with opportunities for growth in a supportive, inclusive culture.

We offer base pay with overtime beyond 8 hours a day or 40 hours per week, plus mid-year and year-end bonuses and a 401(k) profit-sharing plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, architectural, or structural engineering is required.
• Master’s degree in civil/structural engineering is appreciated but not required.
• Minimum of three years’ related experience and/or training.
• Knowledge and proficiency in engineering and construction principles and practices are required.
• Demonstrated competencies as a structural engineer with the ability to handle multiple projects successfully.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Must possess a valid California driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and be insurable under the company policy if driving a company or personal vehicle.
