Job summary

ARM EnerTech Associates, LLC (AETA) is seeking a motivated Structural Engineer to develop structural/foundation components and support automation and electrical systems for diverse clients. The role involves designing reinforced concrete, foundations, steel, and masonry elements, building models, and preparing reports.

Collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team is essential. Applicants should have a Civil/Structural background, 2+ years of experience, and a willingness to pursue PE

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering required.
  • 2+ years of structural engineering experience.
  • Willingness to pursue Professional Engineer Registration.
  • Understanding of soils, shallow foundations, caisson, drilled pier, statics, materials science.
  • Familiarity with FEA and LPILE.
  • CAD software proficiency.
  • Proficiency with MATLAB, Excel, LabVIEW.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 35%.

Responsibilities

  • Create structural analyses and designs for concrete, foundations, steel, masonry, and other structures.
  • Develop structural models, drawings, and specifications.
  • Perform structural condition assessments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on designs and systems.
  • Develop preliminary and detailed drawings using AutoDesk tools.
  • Prepare technical reports and client consultations.
  • Monitor project progress and oversee subcontractors.
  • Provide guidance to junior staff.
