Reframe Systems is seeking a Structural Engineer to own the structural design of its innovative building platform. This role involves defining how modules take load and ensuring they stand up to use while collaborating with various teams.
Key responsibilities include managing structural engineering projects, bridging design and manufacturing, and establishing a repeatable collaboration model. Ideal candidates will possess deep technical skills, a systems mindset, and the ability to drive action.
Reframe Systems is on a mission to build resilient, energy‑efficient housing at scale by re‑imagining how homes are designed and built. Our volumetric modular platform and highly automated microfactories will drive down cost, time to delivery, and embodied carbon for single‑and multifamily housing.
We’re looking for a Structural Engineer to own the structural design of our building platform. This role sits at the intersection of building codes, DFMA, digital modeling, software‑driven structural analysis, and factory reality. You’ll define how our modules take load, move through the factory, get lifted onto foundations, and stand up to decades of use.
You’ll work with architecture, modeling, systems engineering, factory engineering, and external stamping engineers to turn structural engineering from a one‑off project service into a repeatable, scalable product capability.
By your 90‑day mark, we’ll look to you to have driven tangible, system‑level progress. Specifically, you will:
If you’re excited by the idea of owning the structural backbone of a new kind of housing platform, and you want to see your work move from model to robot to home in weeks, not years, we’d love to talk.
