Job summary

O2EPCM, Inc. in Southern California is seeking a structural engineer with 3 years of professional experience to join our onsite team. You will perform design analysis, prepare plans and specifications, review cost estimates, and assist in project reviews for buildings and foundations.

Requirements include a bachelor's degree in structural or civil engineering with specialization, and CA PE license preferred. This is an onsite position with full benefits and no relocation package.

Qualifications

• Three years of full-time professional structural engineering experience.
• Emphasis on school building construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs moderately complex structural engineering work to include design plans, specifications, estimates and reports.
• Performs contract administration in review of structural services required of engineering consultants and architects and makes revisions/recommendations.
• Prepares structural design plans and specifications, quality assurance plans, cost estimates for construction and operation of various structures.
• Assists in review of project status, initiates changes and provides advice to designers and other staff.
• Assists in review of structural plans and calculations for conformance to standards and feasibility of construction.
