Job summary

Veenstra & Kimm, Inc., A Kleinfelder Company, is seeking a full-time Structural Engineer to join our Illinois bridge-focused team. You will contribute to design, detailing, and on-site observations, collaborating with engineers across the Midwest.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Civil or Structural Engineering, has at least 2 years of structural experience, and can obtain an Illinois SE license within 24 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 2+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Illinois SE license or ability to obtain within 24 months.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Structural design and detailing for bridges in Illinois.

Job description

We are currently seeking a full-time Structural Engineer to join our team. Our team works with private companies on bridge projects. We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills to assist our current staff in serving our clients. This position will collaborate with our structural team members across our organization. Additional opportunities include bridge and transportation related projects across the Midwest.
