Mott MacDonald in San Jose, CA is seeking a Structural Engineer to support design and execution of transportation projects including bridges, walls, and transit structures. You will develop designs, review drawings, mentor juniors, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications include a civil/structural ABET‑accredited degree, 5+ years’ experience, code knowledge (AASHTO/Caltrans/AREMA/ASCE/CBC), seismic design, and a PE license (preferred or in progress). Hybrid work offered.

This technical role supports the design and execution of transportation related projects, including bridges (rail/LRT/road), retaining walls, underground and buried structures, transit station structures, and miscellaneous civil structures.

San Jose, CA: $119,000–$145,000
Los Angeles, CA: $107,000–$130,000
Individual pay is determined based on location, education, experience, and unique skills.
