Madsen Associates seeks a mid-to-senior licensed Professional Engineer with expertise in structural behavior for forensic engineering across residential, commercial, industrial facilities, marine and inland structures.
The role involves field documentation, repair scope determination, failure analysis, and expert reports. Travel may be required; strong communication and project management are essential. Compensation ranges from $90k to $130k plus benefits.
We are seeking to add a highly-motivated mid-to-senior level licensed Professional Engineer to our team of multi-disciplinary licensed engineers. The individual will have knowledge in the behavior of structural systems and their components for use in forensic engineering relating to residential, commercial, industrial facilities, marine and inland structures. Experience in performing failure cause & origin analysis on building systems, authoring technical reports, and construction litigation is desired but not necessary if background is strong in design. Building system types include but are not limited to: steel, concrete, masonry, wood, roofing and building envelopes.
Compensation: $90k – $130k
