Monteverde Engineering & Design Studio, PLC seeks a motivated Project Engineer to join the Structural Engineering Department. You will analyze, design, and document a wide variety of structural projects using Revit on-site in Harrisonburg, VA.

The role focuses on collaboration with architects and contractors, strong problem-solving, and professional communication. A Bachelor’s degree in structural/civil engineering is required; PE is a plus.

Job description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Project Engineer to join our growing Structural Engineering Department at Monteverde. In this role you will analyze, design, and utilize Revit to document a wide variety of structural projects across various market sectors. This is a full-time on-site position, but internship/co-op positions will be considered as well.

Qualifications

• Proficient in structural calculations and analysis, with experience in structural engineering principles and practices
• Proficiency in RISA or similar structural design software
• Expertise in using Revit
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
