Job summary

Fives DyAG Corp. in Columbus, OH seeks a Structural Engineer to design equipment, structures, and foundations for air pollution control and pressure processing systems. The Associate will review drawings, produce fabrication drawings, and travel to job sites to gather design information.

You should have a bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering, 2–3 years in structural design, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Inventor, and STAAD. PE licensure is preferred.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering.
• Two to three years of relevant experience in structural design.
• Thorough knowledge of structural design using structural steel, plate and sheet steel and concrete foundations.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Inventor and STAAD structural design software.
• PE license preferred.

STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

The Associate will design equipment, structures, and foundations for all Company products and systems including air pollution control and pressure processing systems. Specific duties include review work of designers, CAD Technicians and subcontractors and check drawings for accuracy; produce shop fabrication drawings for in-house and subcontract fabrication; layout proposed systems; using customer drawings and survey data, travel to job sites to provide technical advice and gather design information; and help evaluate, test, and improve Company products. The position is located in Columbus, OH with occasional travel to job sites and customer offices.

Qualifications

a bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering, two or three years of relevant experience in structural design, thorough knowledge of structural design using structural steel, plate and sheet steel and concrete foundations, and working knowledge of AutoCAD, Inventor and STAAD structural design software. A Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
