Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Mid Level Structural Engineer to provide design for buildings and industrial structures, lead junior staff, and manage project documents. The role emphasizes collaboration with clients and field teams across project lifecycles.

Responsibilities include QA/QC, site visits, and coordinating with design and construction teams to ensure timely delivery within budgets.

Qualifications

• Mid Level structural engineer with project experience
• Experience applying building codes (AISC, ACI, ASCE, IBC)
• Ability to lead teams and manage documents

Responsibilities

• Provide structural design for buildings and industrial structures
• Compile, write, and edit technical reports and specifications on structural projects
• Direct junior engineers, designers, and CAD technicians to deliver project work
• Prepare or review project documents, including scopes, budgets, and schedules
• Interface with clients and construction team
• Conduct site visits and client meetings
• Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and perform field observations
• Provide QA-QC for plans
• Work in a team environment to deliver structural engineering projects

Salary: $80,000 - $160,000 per year

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide structural design for buildings and industrial structures.
• Compile, write, and edit quality technical reports, feasibility reports, letters, memos, and specifications on structural projects
• Independently applies extensive and diversified knowledge of principles and practices including recent building and engineering codes (AISC, ACI, ASCE, IBC) in broad areas of assignments and related fields.
• Uses advanced techniques in the modification or extension of theories and practices of sciences and disciplines to complete assignments
• Directs junior engineers, designers, and CADD technicians to successfully execute and deliver project work
• Prepares or reviews specifications, scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments.
• Prepares or reviews complete project documents.
• Formulates and solves problems.
• Provide QA-QC for plans
• Works in a team environment to deliver a range of structural engineering projects
• Understands and adheres to assigned phase and task schedules and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of project
• Assists with proposals development
• Attends project meetings and presents specific aspects of engineering assignments.
• Interface effectively with clients and construction team.
• Conducts site visits, site observations and client meetings
• Selects appropriate structural systems for project requirements.
• Review shop drawings, respond to RFI’s and perform field observations during Construction Administration phase.
