Actalent is seeking a Structural Engineer I (EIT) to join our Tucson-based engineering team. You will support design and analysis across commercial, industrial, and government projects, collaborating with Professional Engineers in a fast-paced, multi-discipline firm.

This contract role offers hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and varied structural systems, with potential for professional growth and client interaction in the Southwest region.

Qualifications

Job Title: Structural Engineer I (EIT)

We are seeking a motivated Structural Engineer I (EIT) to join our Tucson-based consulting engineering team. In this role, you will support the design and analysis of a variety of commercial, industrial, educational, government, and infrastructure projects. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career engineer with a strong technical foundation in structural design and a desire to work closely with experienced Professional Engineers in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures.
• Assist in the preparation of construction documents, calculations, specifications, and reports.
• Develop structural plans and details utilizing AutoCAD and/or Revit.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Tucson, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
