Structural Drafter / Designer - Biloxi, MS | On-Site Full-Time | $25 – $33/hr, depending on experience

Summary

The Structural Drafter/Designer will be responsible for reading plans and working with Engineers to complete a project, which includes setting up sheets, laying out building plans or elevations, and cutting sections so that the Engineers can design the project in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Drafting Manager or Senior Engineer and carry out delegated tasks.
• Read plans and work with Engineers to complete a project, including setting up sheets, laying out building plans or elevations, and cutting sections for the Engineers' design.
• Assist Engineers in any way possible to ensure the project is completed within the time frame given by clients.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• 3+ years of drafting experience, with emphasis on structural in the vertical construction field.
• Ability to read plans and sections provided by clients.
• Ability to draft structural elements required to make the building structurally sound.
