Job summary

Coffman Engineers is seeking a Structural CAD Drafter/Designer for their Portland office. This role involves creating drawings and project documents using CAD and BIM tools like AutoCAD and Revit. Candidates should have 3+ years of drafting experience, ideally in structural frameworks.

Qualifications

• Technical or associate degree in engineering or related sciences preferred.
• Advanced CAD, layout, and BIM skills.
• Experienced with the latest release of AutoCAD and Revit design tools.
• Proficient in computer skills necessary for daily activities including email, word processing, spreadsheets, BlueBeam, and graphics.
• Ability to work with numerous project teams to help with project completion.
• Able to work from detailed sketches to produce computer-generated graphs, charts, overlays, and simple isometric drawings.

As a Structural CAD Drafter/Designer in our Portland office, you will assist in creating drawings and project documents from information provided by engineers using various computer-aided design (CAD) and building information modeling (BIM) platforms such as AutoCAD, Revit, and others. You will be responsible for independently completing design and drafting assignments, ensuring a high level of quality and on-time delivery.
