Utopia is seeking dynamic Structural Design Engineers to support design development of luxury hospitality projects worldwide, including boutique hotels and villas. You will deliver innovative structural solutions while maintaining high-end aesthetics and code compliance, reporting to a Structural Design Manager and collaborating with the broader design team.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in structural design consultancy or general contractor.
• Experience on low-rise residential and hospitality projects.
• Proven experience in seismic design and earthquake-resistant structures.
• Strong background in structural detailing and construction drawings development.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Professional level of English, both written and verbal.

Aufgaben

• Design structural systems for luxury villas and boutique hotels, ensuring compliance with local building codes and seismic regulations.
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and MEP engineers to integrate structural elements into the overall design.
• Coordinate with BIM models, research efficient structural methods to preserve high-end aesthetics.
• Timely resolve structural design challenges during the design phase.
• Lead development of detailed structural drawings, technical documentation, and construction specifications using CAD and BIM tools.
• Perform structural analysis, load calculations, and seismic design to optimize performance and safety.
• Oversee material selection and detailing to meet project requirements and sustainability goals.
• Provide input during value engineering discussions to balance cost, performance, and architectural intent.
• Supervise the deliverables of third-party consultants, geotechnical engineers, and surveyors.
